Fool I am!!!

May be I am just imaging.... or may be I am just speculating... or I may even be playing the role of a fool! But I believe, It's just a feeling and I have one more page to add to the book called life :)

When I pick my cell phone and make a call
to the one that makes me loll
on the ground; we talk for hours
always think to gift her a smile... a kiss...

We are so close but yet so part
Distance plays the role of the thug!
Just cant see her but I always feel her
cell phones remain the best friends of ours

And When we ran out of words

try to speak with our hearts
never wish to end... just carry on the talk
but soon realize the deeds of the clock

Many beeps, many tones always refer to just one name

Smiles all the time, hugs some times and happy most times
But one fine day my best friend sings a surprise
So much concerned but just had to wait

Always believed life is so beautiful
Everyday I re-energize, refresh and re-vitalize...
Felt my balance in life so perfect
that the impact of a little shift was never a thought

I kept knocking but her cell phone seized to answer
Annoyed, irritated, disappointed yet... anticipated
such a fool I am.... Not the days I can think of even in my dreams
Tears run through my veins, wish my best friend beeps!

days of my glory

Hello there, listen to my story
which dates back to the days of my glory

when I was young and very innocent!
I always cried, when my mommy left me tied

On an usual day, a girl from the neighborhood
...smiled at me and took my hand
she said goodbye to her mom and mine
and I never cried from that day till time!

Back to the school
run through the roads
write down the notes
read all the books
sing all the rhymes

sketch on the boards
where all the teachers wish for our brains... oh yeah!!! the days of my glory...

During the time... of our teacher's prime
I prayed to the Gods and the class went so chill
cause' those were the days when the exams thrill
and when the last one was done, life took a turn
I ran in the rain, beat down the sun
climbed all the trees, jumped all the walls
mom's yelled for rest, but I gave my best
and at the summer's end, back to the good boy's trend!

Back to the school

stand on the bench

eat all the food
sleep on the floor

dance on the stage
play all the games
where all the students wish for their gains... oh yeah!!! the days of my glory...

GullyCric

We are in this place... named it GullyCric!
where all the young and old, forget the weight they hold
We just thought of it, everyone were onto it
And in express time, we just signaled green
So its time for us to cook some history!

A count of 12, looks like a very good start
Rs 1200, to pen down the funding chart
and when the neighbors heard, came down to reach our world
a raise to the funding chart, a high to the counting lot
So we play the waiting game, to see the rising stars!

Yes.. this is GullyCric, the only happening trick
when the chips are down, during recession time!
SMS our ways... Every Saturdays...
With our cricket kit, at the dawn of day
we are ready to click, thanks to the passion flicks

Here are the two captains, choosing their best of men

hoping to crack 'em up, at the time of toss
So now the stage is set... to start a playful match
but the wind in air, suggesting a hard fought match
so when all is done, we will have some serious fun!

Winning Combination

Have you ever thought of someone whom you know but yet not confident enough to say "I know him/her"?

Yeah..., we always have those people around us, who sit with us, work with us, share great deeds with us but still

give enough room to be distant enough. We call ourselves to be a team, go together to meetings, lunches, movies and parties. But in any case there isn't much belongingness for the simple reason that we are still strangers. We share the same office; same block, same cubical, but seldom meet off campus and discuss feelings. We compete; we fight, and gamble but only in the interest of self. Yes, I find it very much applicable to teams at work and I believe you would have experienced the same.

When such a disoriented team finds its own self, discovering its true potential, the charm, the variety and the energy within it, you know, it's set to challenge the impossible as it has gained trust, confidence and commitment. All set to be a team with the winning combination.

Proud to say, I belong to this team!!!

A six day package to the working party

adding more to the players agility

Strengthening team with creative delicacy

sure a great workshop with sensible diplomacy

Discussions, ideas, strategies and end results

Building towers to sharing wisdom, knowing self and knowing each other

Plenty of learning leaving few concerns and some questions

Signing off with effective expectations and do-able contributions

No new face and no new race

We as a team are filled with grace

Now I see the oomph to always grow strong

I am here to fight and never go wrong

I wish to go on and on

without a thought of disconnection

As I believe...,I belong to a winning combination!

Hence we get-together to celebrate our rejuvenation

Main Hoon DON

It's time for the D-day and I was all set to make the most electrifying entry. As I was nearing that very place where I used to dream of seeing myself as a hero since childhood, I started to believe, I was living my dream :D. I was hearing a noise much like the one u hear just before the start of a live concert. I was feeling that "adrenalin" rush in my blood!.Huh!!. what? was I hearing a grunting sound? just few inches away from my left ear? Hmmm... strange.., ok..., never mind.

Now, I see a shiny black BMW entering the "Madison Square Garden". I see all police men guarding the car. I see people cheering, singing slogans, hip hip hurray, shouting, screming, few ready with their autograph booklets, pens, papers, and posters WOW!!!. Also, I see the media with high resolution cameras, mikes, camcorders, blind the eye falshes, live recording - just amazing!. I was just watching and waiting to know the karizmatic personality steping out from the BMW.

Confused??? What do you think....?

Of course it was me sitting inside my BMW and thinking all these ;). Actually I was waiting for myself to step out of my BMW, just like my very own favourite star Shah Rukh Khan in "DON" lol!! Oh wait, let me stick to the original, Amitabh Bachhan as the iconic "DON" ;). Again, I hear the same old grunt. Hmmm...i think... it is... no no...? ok just knock it off and keep moving!!!

Here comes my driver, dressed in white tuxedo, to open the right back door of my very own BMW. Along came my buddies ;), two tall and hefty bodyguards dressed in tights and stood at the right corners of my BMW. I was very excited, couldn't wait any more longer.
Here comes my hero (actually.., its me ;)), stepping out of the door, dressed in black suit, Redtape to the feet and rayban shades to the eyes - the complete man you know! Long, irregular, shiny black hair of mine and that very confident smile, extremely handsome, greeting people with grace, signing few autographs, waving at every cheering audience and moving forward with very bold steps, and a thumbs-up to the media. It was all just stunning!!!

Then I suddenly hear a grunting noise again :X, wait... I have heard this voice, infact I keep hearing this voice almost everyday. Yes.., It's my friend, my roommate, Anand. Then I suddenly felt that I was actually travelling in a train..., movers and shakers!!! I was wondering what in the world was happening to me. And then, when I actually opened my eyes.., it was Anand (oxoxoxo???), hitting my butt with his leg and screaming "Wake up" "Wake up" "you are already late!!!". Not even in the train :-/... Oh! NO... Not again!!! Then I woke up, just like every other day believing that I was living my dream and feeling sorry and patting myself on the back saying not to be disappointed. I got ready and got going to complete my daily routine.
Back at home late in the day, yawning for another exciting dream to live.

Morning March

When I wake up n open the grill
get greeted with the winter's chill
the north breeze kissing me cheese
the day has warmed up get moving please

Lock up the door, run down the stairs
Old man standing looks up n prays
smiling me, rush to the restaurant
Idly-chatni-sambar never ignorant

Buses n cars, Scooters n cycles
honking noise from every vehicle
Signal stoppings, zebra crossings, Footpath marchings
Yes.., these are my mornings

Walking back towards my stop
look at waiting pals singing hip-pop
I say a hi and say goodbye
to all those people glancing a sigh

Here comes my cab, very dutiful
Sitting amongst the colorful, so wonderful
Ear plugs in repair but radio in the air
Few songs, some chitchat and I reach my fair

Ecstasy

Sometime ago on a sunny day, I was basking in my office. With all my work complete and no more interested to browse, I was just thinking nothing. It was 3:30 in the afternoon when I went near the windows and was greeted with an awful sight, a scenic beauty, an unbelievable panorama on the busiest roads in the city. I had no words and just stood there overwhelmed. I can say..., I was just ecstatic!

After a while came back to my seat, gathered my thoughts and put them together in black and white.

Rain, oh thundering rain
You make the young
Dance to your beats

Rain, oh mystique rain
You ease the pain
Of the broken heart

Rain, oh joyful rain
You please the old
To rejoice in reign

Rain, oh blissful rain
You sweep away
The dirt of pain

Rain, oh vibrant rain
You flood the earth
To smile in green

Rain, oh thoughtful rain
You knew, your coming
Means together WE :)

Rain, oh dazzling rain
You remind me… that..,
You are my ecstasy!
